1. Introduction

Welcome to Stylish Flooring & Blinds. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our services. By booking or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Stylish Flooring & Blinds is a UK-based, family-run flooring and blinds specialist serving Leicester and the East Midlands.

2. Services

We provide a range of flooring and blinds services including, but not limited to:

• Supply and installation of carpets, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), laminate and vinyl flooring
• Subfloor preparation, levelling and moisture testing
• Removal and disposal of existing flooring (if agreed)
• Measuring, site survey and written quotation
• Supply and installation of made-to-measure blinds
• Commercial flooring for offices and workplaces

Service details, scope of work, and frequency will be agreed upon prior to commencement.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are agreed in advance and include VAT where applicable. Material orders may require a deposit (typically 50%) at the time of booking to secure goods. The final balance is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Special‑order items are non‑returnable once ordered with the supplier.

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Late payments may incur additional charges and may result in suspension of services until accounts are settled.

4. Service Delivery

We aim to deliver services at the agreed times and dates. However, we reserve the right to reschedule due to supplier delays, access issues, weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Dates are indicative until materials are confirmed.

Any changes will be communicated to clients at the earliest opportunity. The customer is responsible for providing clear access, adequate lighting and power, and for removing furniture and personal items unless otherwise agreed. Where relevant, products may require acclimatisation on site; subfloor moisture or defects discovered during installation may require additional remedial work and costs, agreed before proceeding.

5. Health & Safety

We operate in full compliance with UK health and safety regulations. All staff are trained and follow appropriate risk assessments. Clients must ensure safe access to premises and inform us of any known hazards.

6. Equipment and Materials

Unless otherwise agreed, Stylish Flooring & Blinds provides all materials, fixings and equipment required to perform our services. Manufacturer warranties apply to products supplied and must be registered/maintained according to the manufacturer’s guidance.

7. Liability

We take all reasonable care when delivering services. However, Stylish Flooring & Blinds is not liable for:

• Pre‑existing subfloor defects or structural movement
• Damage occurring after completion due to misuse, water ingress or lack of care
• Natural shade/texture variations within manufacturing tolerances
• Normal expansion/shrinkage of flooring due to temperature or humidity
• Supplier or delivery delays outside of our control

Our total liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Upon termination:

• Outstanding invoices remain payable
• Ongoing services will cease from the agreed termination date
• No refunds for services already completed

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
